Big Mac in the Hall?

As Christmas is nearing, the sports clones of the world has a new Buzz. Should Mark McGwire be admitted to the hall. Some writers say no, some say yes, some say not the first ballot. Did Baseball forget as the interest of the sport went in the toilet until McGwire/Sosa HR battle came to the forefront? Did St Louis as a city forget we havent heard from you since Tudor hit a fan in the mid 80's. And some say cheaters dont belong in the Hall? Drug addicts and spitballers are OK? But not a person that took supplements, not to get better numbers, but to be healthy enough to play. Baseball says it has no place for cheaters, lets look at the numbers. TV. The ratings, the World Series is right up there with World Cup Soccor for rating now! So what do the fans want. I threw up when I seen Marcus Vick in a NFL uniform, his reward for stepping on the D-Tackle from Louisville's leg last year. Chris Carter, he got rewarded to, with an NFL Contract for gambling at Ohio State, and being Kicked out of the NCAA program.

But McGwire, he brought the game back, Bonds is great, and beat Mac's Numbers. But would Bonds be mentioned if it wasnt for McGwire? And Steroids, how does Clemens get better as he gets older, yet not a peep about him. Oh yea, someone said he did steroids, but this guy was just a rat. So we can disregard that......

Sports Teams today and Ben Wallace

OK, the Bulls and Ben Wallace are going at it over a head band. When does a team sign a superstar, and forget to mention obtw, we dont allow headbands. Or better yet, bring in Big Ben and think he is a rule player. He needs a head band for his hair!

Both sides are stupid. Why sign with a team that wont let you express your freedoms as you see it. And why sign a stone head? Both sides are going to loose. So the best things for both sides is a trade. Some say it is the player, I say it is the GM who signed the guy. Ben without a Headband is like Sampson without his hair. But this goes on in the NFL, MLB and the NBA. Why does someone think they are going to be the guy who fixes it. Look at the Raiders in the Glory years, the Bulls with Rodman, and the Pistons. Champions who let their players play.

Now, me being a Kings fan, and this huge dislike for Kenny Thomas and his I wanna play or I will cry attitude. Lets trade him and Corlis Williamson for Big Ben. Allow him to wear his head band, and you know what. Think of it, Artest, Bibby, Miller, K-Mart, and Big Ben. Who is going to stop us now?!!!!! You want Defense, you have it there. A true Twin Towers in the Middle.

Oh those Kings and the Texas Two Step

Well the Sacramento Kings fresh off a win against LA, but it was the Clippers, goes off to Texas. This is there first big test. The Mavericks are hot. Hotter than anyone. Spotting everyone four games just to come back on fire with 10 in a row. Then there is the Spurs. Slowly becoming the Lakers in the rivalry.

I didn't see the game, but Kevin Martin was not effective today for the first time. Brad Miller is back, and Mike Bibby brought his A game for the first time. I just hope that this team has what it takes. This is the first time the Kings will be tested, and tested away from Arco. So do our Kings have what it takes to move to the next level of NBA Basketball? The Texas Two step will tell us. Friday it is the Mavericks and Saturday in a back to back San Antonio.

They need a split in the Fri-Sat match up. Nothing less is accepted. Or even at this early stage, a change maybe needed.

Who is going to the Rose Bowl

Well we all know Michigan is going. Runner Up in the Big 10. And who? Some say it is Cal. Well, if the season ended today, I say Cal doesn't get the offer, again. Why? They are ranked 19th in the BCS. And Texas loosing earlier in the day. There goes my Longhorns, as they were the 2x defending Rose Bowl champs. So who is left? Other Big 10 schools? Notor Dame if they lose to USC. Actually if USC loses, that would be the best game. USC/Michigan.

Well in my opinion, this is going to be one bad Rose Bowl. Other power schools are going to either the Fiesta, Sugar, or Orange Bowl. Then comes the Little Majors: Boise State, Rutgers, Louisville. If Boise State wins this weekend in their last game they are going to a BCS Bowl Game. So is the Rose Bowl the Grand Daddy of them All?? Only time will tell.....

Martin is King in Seattle, Scores 35!

Well the Kings pulled off a big surprise, they not only won, they won big. They not only Won big, but the D! No Artest either. Big game from Williamson off the bench, and Kenny Thomas. Both combined had 19 rebounds. Thomas the team leader with 14. Offense was led by none other than Kevin Martin with a Career High 35!! Next up for our Hometown hero's a back to back with Portland at Arco.

I am still looking forward to a better rotation. The price we pay players to sit on the bench is amazing. New and old alike. And our rookie, Quincy Douby, would be great to get him in the game.

And last, don't forget to log onto NBA.COM and vote, you have to hand select Kevin Martin. For guard for the NBA All Star team. He is not a selection!

Happy Thanksgiving

The biggest thing about this Holiday is to be thankful. One of the only holidays focused in on that. To be thankful for what you have. And for one day, say yes, it is great to be here. Now on my Kings.

Defense? I do not need to say anymore. What about Kevin Martin! I really think we need to start a campaign in this town to get him the All Star vote. Why not, the whole country of China votes for Yao Ming. And he isn't the best Center in the West.

But for now, we have to focus on what is left of the year. Not what has been played. I do not think the Maloof's can even try to bring in anybody of Ron's flavor to save this year. Is the #8 spot that bad?

Happy Thanksgiving! Sacramento, thanks for letting me be here....

When is it Geoff Petrie's Fault

When do my Sacramento Kings look to Geoff Petrie as the problem of the Kings. The mighty Kings front office have gotten rid of one of the premier NBA coaches at the end of last season in Rick Adelman. Why lack of defensive coaching. Now, what are we lacking?? And Mussleman was at a loss of offense so he went to a scheme that was succesful under Addlemen.

So the best owners in the world get rid of the best coach in the world. The family decided to do this in talks with Geoff Petrie. Have you ever been in a meeting at work, where you boss goes, something is wrong with the team. And the one guy on the bubble goes, yeah it is John Smith's fault. As I do one heck of a job, elbows and wrenches into the mix, while Smitty keeps us down. I think that is how the meeting with the Maloof's went. What has Geoff done?

He didn't bring us Artest. He needed defensive help so who did he go after? Ben Wallace? Nope, John Salmons and Loren Woods. Between the two them they equal one mediocre player. Combined, they averaged 9.8 pts per game and 6.8 rebounds. So we get rid of Bonzi Wells. In a Kings Uniform he averaged 7 boards and 13.6 pts per game. OK, so he isnt off to a fast start in Houston, but, Sacramento turned Weber into a Superstar, and Ron Artest has a new NBA life as the Poster Boy for Sacramento. I am not saying this is a turning ground, but, Arco has this mystique about it that brings out the best.

Then our coach, great guy, just a looser everywhere he has been. So will Arco do him justice? Like C-Web and Ron-Ron. Lets see, we trampled the mediocre, and lost to the all mighty. Is his excuse that Miller is hurt? Miller is not known for his defensive and the offense is hot with K-Mart leading the way. Only time will tell.

But as I said when is it Geoff's fault?
