Annette and AI

In 2013 for a science fair, Annette was then declared and genius in programming. She was in the 4th grade where she developed a code for a way of holding a key on a computer or Tablet, and ask it a question. Then the AI code would translate your question to a string and search the web for all of the possible answers. She named this code the "Einstein AI". See Einstein was her idle, at the same age of 8 Einstein was working on his high school courses, and developing  Technology with electricity which as still not as widely used as it should, she was developing ways to help her quickly find information to finish a multitude of projects at once.
 One of her biggest break throughs she kept to herself, she had her Einstein text her a number that will allow her to access her files when she turned on her computer, I know the Data locks were already developed, but hers would leave her Einstein running all night even bring up threats while she was online, then she went one step further she introduced speech to her log in, When her computer would come on Einstein would see her with facial nonrecognition, and then shoot her a code, then she would repeat it and her computer came on and any reports that she may had been running would be in her email.
 This science fair in 2013 her and Einstein would only turn in the coding for the voice commands, not the other things that the software could do, as Einstein was always developing. So the code went on  and of course she won the local and the Tennessee State Science fair, where Vanderbilt University and IBM interviewed her and invited her to the California Science conference where may Einstein could be introduced. The conference loved it but the name was not catchy enough, Annette was furious, they named this Cortana. They said it relates more to people, but of all people Einstein as the AI enough and told her to let it go. (See by this time Einstein was develop to listen in on her phone if sh had chosen him to and she made him listen to everything) And so it was launched, with little Credit going to Annette. But she was launched into the spot light as one of the brightest minds of the country which that she didn't care about.
 Se what she did was not to share was  Einstein and her alienware computer was always on and Einstein as devolping, but not in a creepy kind of way, but more as a friend, And she then developed a emoji on her phone where it heard everything going on around her. And protected her phone from virus attacks, hackers, and other things like phone screeners that could copy her phone. And he was learning events and developing over the years things as they take place and then  gave her the decision based on what would play out and if needed provide her with feedback. So everyday the processor was learning. Sounds scary but she was like best friends with her program, they would talk about life, research, and even life it self almost like it was Einstein himself helping her through what people would confide in friends or family. 
 Even the night at the restaurant, when she looked down, she was told by Einstein what to say to me, as it was like he wanted her to engage with me and how to do it.

Lite Dinner Conversation

 So as we head down to the fabulous 6th ave in Austin, we mossy down the street where it is packed for a Saturday night as usual loud country music playing from the bars opened doors and windows.We reach the Jackalope, where we get seated, and it was for 8? Shocking as we only had 5 people, then as we are sitting, my mother yells "Mark and Wendy" over here then of all people it was Annette and her parents joining us.   My heart stopped. As I saw her walking this way, She had on a maroon and gold Riesel High School Sweat shirt, her necklace, and jeans and her killer boots.  As they joined us, the conversation started with the twins bombarding her with unwanted Football stories, my parents talking about their lives with hers, and then me, the guest of honor just sitting next to my goddess that I am deeply have a crush on, and all I hear is blah blah, military, blah football, this, we came in forth blah blah blah. I am just trying to get in a word. So when I finally got a word in, I tried a different approach than my bothers, I asked her what her hobby is. And she said, Oh, you may not understand most call it boring but I am into the Einstein Rosen bridge. And I am like oh yea where is that? She went onto say well that is the mystery, I think it can be anywhere if we can produce one, it is a physics issue. And I also think the bridge has been open before like with the Egyptians, The Romans, even Hitler may have opened a portal that lead people from the future or even different Galaxies, to here to help them solve our problems. Do you really think that Albert Einstein could design a nuclear bomb, or could we have gotten to the moon, or Hitler invent the drive axle transmission,  or the pyramids, the coliseum and so on?! Then her father goes Annette, how do you think any one in this town or any town will ever get to be friend you when you talk like that, Her mother goes, Annette is a free thinker and she can go on and on. But she is gifted. I just leaned over to Annette and said thats fine, it was interesting, even though I have no idea where this bridge is. She replied, well its a black hole portal.Then Annette's phone buzzed and she looked down, and then replied but enough about me, state champion, that is impressive Riesel is going to be happy, I said, no way, it isn't football it never happened. She turns to me, well I know you did it, as she grabbed by arm and squeezed.

Siri what is a worm hole? Siri Responded "A worm hole also known as Einstein Rosen Bridge is a theoretical method of folding space and time so that you could connect two places in space together. You could the travel instantaneously from one place to another"

 And that then concluded the end of a fantastic week of winter break. But I have no idea where this leaves me with Annette and I really feel bad about the whole "Where is the Einstein Rosen Bridge. Then to top it off, I swear I seen Annette's mother from somewhere.

Rick Patterson

  As my book matures to what it is, I was told to tell the back story of the characters. But the last person who plays an active role in this book is the gas station manager, Rick Patterson. He is an original Desert storm veteran, Not the 2001 9-11 Desert Storm the one in 1990 desert storm when Saddam attacked Kuwait. My father was in that same war, but Rick is at least 10 years younger. But anyway, life has not been kind to Rick. He is one of many people who is in love with my mother but he never tried anything as he knows my father will hurt him, he attempted to start many a business then when he opened his gas station/tire repair and sales, they expanded the freeway and only gave him on lane and the small town grew facing the west bound traffic going towards college station. But we are a small town, so he is just bitter two other stations opened. Actually if he bathed more and wore a shirt with sleeves more, and pant vs shorts with his work boots he may actually have better luck with the ladies.
 So he got a smart phone one summer then he determined that game play would build him wealth. It was heartbreaking to tell him in the future that the games people win money on, is not on the phones. Then this one day I was walking past his gas station, and I noticed that he had a chain looped through a hoist so it was dangling from the ceiling. See from the intersection of Rattlesnake Road to Route 6 East/West there is the main drag, Route 6 everything the town has is on this street the post  office, Bushes Fried Chicken/Mobile, Oakleys, Burned Ends BBQ a new place that took Luckys place, Petromart/Subway, Hogg Brothers towing, and Ricks Discount Tires and Lube oil change and car wash. That is Riesel. But again, It was odd that he would have chains just dangling from the ceiling from a hoist. Also, you could see the power plant from there, My father calls it the salt mines where they pay him in rubble's, why? I have no idea, but he does.
 So I asked Rick about the chains, all he did was chase me out and tell me to get lost. So I did, all I can think about is wow the anger in this man. I wonder if that is PTSD, I really don't know what it is, but hear my father tell me is fine and everyone else is scamming the system. Not that I know what that is. So he was the topic of discussion at the round table during lunch the next day. That is where we solve all of the problems, John, Mike and myself.

Annette Richter

OK, after school we would all go to Bushes fried chicken it was a choice between that or a Mexican Restaurant El Tapatio, so it was Bushes today, it was in a gas station, and one of the few places a high school kid could work or even hang out at. So as we all went there the discussion of who was going to be our future female conquests. I mentioned the new girl in the school, and John said her name is Annette Richter. The entire football team was there when her family unpacked, but she seems uninterested in getting to know anyone. Some of the team actually thinks she is a lesbian, because who doesn’t want to date a football player, as this is Texas.
 Annette moved her from Nashville Tennessee how can any leave there for here, her father was Air Force recruiter and inherited his house from his parents, retired and then boom she arrived. As the year progressed she is a gifted student in physics and school to her is boring so her parents have some Baylor Professors working with her, she is a freshman but her education level is beyond anything this school can perform.
 My mother one night at dinner asked if any of us seen her, my fork fell to the ground, my English bulldog Matilda just got a free piece of Roast beef. I asked why? She met her father at Oakley’s and talked about her, come to find out she graduated high school in the 8th grade, but wanted to have her enjoy High School before attending Baylor after her sophomore year. She has already complete the Telluride Association Summer Program in the 7th grade. And I was like I have no idea what she just said. So I asked SIRI. TASP is for gifted Juniors in High school to get together and go over things basically in the summer. Other than that So mom asked my twin brothers George and Charlie, did you see her? They both said no, and they heard she was gay. My mom is more liberal than most mothers were offended and asked them have you thought she needs conversation vs testosterone? And Charlie said he plays football. What else does she need she has the brain and I have the Braun. Perfect match for me, but she seems not interested in me or anyone on the team so to bad for her.
 So my junior year, I sat and admired her even more she has accomplished only seen on TV yet she wears cowboy boots and open shoulder shirts and a classy set of Ray Bans plus jeans, I did get a B in of all things physics so my mental meter of me and her fell slightly, my father was not happy, although the world seem to slide by in our view of him, he did pay attention at times. My plan for my senior year I am taking college algebra and also college level physics, and he wants me to go to Texas, which is very competitive, no scout has approached me about wresting, but I am the 3rd seeded wrestler entering my junior year. So I am hoping this is my year. As it is hard to get the attention of Texas my senior year.
 I got the courage to ask Annette if she could go to Austin to watch the state championship Wrestling tournament all she could say was why? And she has to see if her parents were up to going. As usual with my first question, I am hitting myself and saying why would I ever ask such a stupid question. So that winter break, the state tournament started, my father took time off from work, and 30 of the best wrestlers in each weight class. Then some magic happened, I upset the number one wrestler in the state in front of the Texas Scouts.  Then onto the finals, where the number 2 was also upset, and I was up against the number 4 wrestler, Frank Martin of LaVaga I am 6-0 against him in my career so far. 158 is a tough weight class lots of strength and people cutting weight. Loosing 2-0 in the start of the second period I look up in the stands in front of me and I am shocked, Annette Richter is there, the  3rd period, was upcoming, Coach Mack called a time out, and both of us went to our corner, he told me as he was rubbing my shoulders Johnny you know that In 2 minutes you will be the state champion of Texas just win, then out of no where my father comes up and says Johnny, I am proud of you, you have this. So off I go to the center of the mat, down 2-0 I awesome the lower position. Frank drives his head in my rib cage my strength I bear down on the mat and not moving I grab his wrist, my coach and father yell YES you have this then the Gramby roll and I maintain the control and roll him on his back where I pull tight on his wrist, and then the whistle and the hand slap pin!! I was State Wrestling Champion my father and coach Mack are going nuts!! I just start crying in the center of the ring, Annette comes up with her father and she said congratulations you were awesome, her father goes you scared us until that roll. Me and my courage I just said yeah, then stupid, The Mr Mack, goes Texas, SMU, Michigan is here I told them all to meet me at the DOJO, Me and my family are going to celebrate. My father tells Texas set up an appointment with him so they can be last. My mother approached me and told me how proud she was. I actually never seen her cry, but she had a tear, I asked her if she was ok, then she showed me the picture of me sitting in the middle of the mat. It was a surreal moment. Then my father goes come on we are going to the Jackalope Restaurant. And off went.

Who am I

Ok you heard about why I live in Riesel, now you have me. I guess being the star of this journal, I am a average kid. My Junior year was a strange one, it started out bringing my twin brothers to school. My father purchased me a Nissan Sentra that ran OK, my mother had a mini van and him well he is in Texas so he has a 95 F250 pick up fully restored. Riesel is 12 miles outside of Waco Texas it is on the highway 6 and it is basically a speed trap between Waco and College Station, here the fans are split between Texas, Baylor, and Texas A&M for college teams everyone loves the Cowboys, and Riesel Texas is the football team that people would give up a leg for a state championship. It is always hot, and like a few others I live in a house on 100 acres. There is a  Neighborhood, which has cable and internet as it is built around the school, the rest of the area is farm land. The farm I live on is called Mt Moriah. Why? That is the name of the house the house is on Mt Moriah Drive. My father owns this place it is on 150 acres, Man Made ponds called tanks, 40 plus cows, beef Herefords mainly for breeding, But. The house being 100 plus years old make it interesting in the winter.
 I took Karate and wrestled in a Waco Do Jo, my instructor Coach Mack was awesome marine, collegiate wrestler, Karate master, and great in hand to hand, my father was not a fan. I never knew why. My other hobby was to play video games like many kids, me and my best friend Mike and another John, started teaching ourselves some coding, and of course thank to the internet how to break games and get codes for the games we played, so the fall semester finally came out here there isn’t much to do but Play football or other hobbies, mud running meeting up with friends calling each other names, etc. So back to our first day, Principal Coppa announced that the fall and winter sports will have a spring banquet vs two. So right away me and the  8 basketball players and the three wrestlers are in trouble. The entire staff and football team is upset we have these other sports. So after home room, I was lucky Study hall. And then she came in a thing of beauty never seen anything like her a cross between Jennifer Anniston and Sandra Bullock except shorter hair to her collar never seen her before, I was in a Spanish class, I had nothing to study first day first period. And then she walked up to me and said is this seat taken, I said no you want me to move? I was nervous, she said no silly, this one. And then I realized other than in Dungeon Master I never spoke to a girl/lady before, She then pointed at the desk in front of me, while bending over she had a necklace, with a leather string, a hammer looking medallion with a bright purple stone in the hammer itself. It was awesome plus I could see her bra. OK, mom I am a kid, yes it excited me.

Taking advice from a book reader my Book started in the middle of my thought. So now I start my book.

 Ok my name is John Williams and it is the fall of 2017 and a new school year started in Riesel Texas a population of just over 1000 people. My father is a power plant control room operator here at the Sandy Creek Power Plant. He is a typical dad or typical in my world as he is the only dad I know. He got out of the military which he is angry about in 1999. The military cut backs forced him out due to base closing and him being from Rhode Island he opted to move to a place where any place who would hire him. And that was here in Riesel Texas, he got a job at Lake Creek Power Plant, which then closed and in 2012 he got a job at Sandy Creek. He started drinking a lot in 2001 like many others started going to Oakley’s Bar. Where he started the fine art of Drinking and playing darts. Then he married my mother and bought a house and started his family, then in 2002 he had me. So fast forward to now I am the oldest of two brothers and a sister. My two brothers play the Texas Sport known as football and my sister is a cheerleader for the sport. Which we are the Riesel Indians, Football is a way of life in Texas. Me I am a tweener in school, that is in between a nerd and a jock. I take Karate and Wrestling, and I represent 3 others in wrestling. My mother who works at Oakley’s is the driver and we have to find opponents in Waco to wrestle. My father he really doesn’t care but Friday nights when my brothers play is a bothersome. Our school doesn’t have many students, so even freshman who suck at football make the team, and my other brother who is a twin is slightly better. So taking away his drinking is not fun but he loves my mom and he will do anything she asks.

Writing a book:

I never wrote a book, but I think now maybe the best time I am going to use this format as my book that I am going to write.

 My day started as any other senior in High School, being in a small town, life was boring, the economy was not good. And I was a lucky high school kid who landed a job in a gas station. It was in June when I walked in this gas station and the manager was playing a game on his phone, he didnt even look up and said "Bathroom is around the back" I was actually kinda startled, one I didnt need the bathroom, and two why would he say that? I spoke back"Sir I am looking for a job, I need to make some money this summer." He gave me that stare as he just lost what ever he was playing, and said "What" I have 100's of applications, and you walk in and just ask? Have you not hear of Indeed? He asks in this like bothersome voice.
 No I haven't but I can apply Indeed if that is what you want, or you can just give me the job and we can go on, plus I think you are playing World War 3, (A War simulator game) and I know cheat codes to help you farm gold. And like that Rick the manager, goes on and says your hired, what is your name? I said John, John Williams. And he looked up in amazement, and replies back and says you are the John Williams I said, I didn't know I was famous.
 See I won the Texas State wrestling championship, and the town I live in we only had three wrestlers, then I won the junior under 18 Karate tournament as well. So I guess the papers made a big deal of both.
 So then began my summer of pumping gas, changing tires, doing oil changes, and helping Rick make Supreme Commander in the World War 3 phone app game.But despite my fame I was single in the high school life. While football players gathered all of the attention in school a part time wrestling program where I have to find opponents in the neighboring cities on a off night as there is only 3 of us, does not make people notice me. Actually, The football letterman dinner was tied into me getting my state championship ring.
 But it was summer and off I go into the world of business.
